We are delighted to announce a significant new account with one of the largest commercial nursery businesses in Europe, Johnsons of Whixley.

Faith PR has been chosen by North Yorkshire based Johnsons of Whixley to act as the company’s outsourced PR and marketing team, and deliver ongoing marketing and communications activity to raise the profile of the Johnsons Group and its wholesale commercial, cash and carry and garden centre divisions.

The multi-platform campaign will include ongoing public relations and social media activity, in addition to digital marketing campaigns and graphic design for point of sale material including signage, brochures and other sales literature.

Family-run Johnsons of Whixley is one of longest established and largest commercial nursery businesses in Europe, and the largest and most trusted supplier of plants and trees to the amenity sector in the UK.

The company employs 90 staff at its head office near York and services a range of national and regional customers, from garden designers, landscapers, landscape architects and landscape contractors, to hotel chains, facilities management companies, property developers, show homes and estates.

Johnsons has supplied high-profile schemes including the Forth Road Bridge, Royal Parks, HS1 and the Athletes Village at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. The company is also a nationwide supplier to DIY chains and independent garden centres and its plants can be found in the gardens of private homes nationally.
